A New Workstation for Linux

A workstation tailored for Linux systems is now available in the Server Network solution. This workstation can be connected to the control panel within the Windows operating system for the purpose of creating backups of Linux files.

MySQL 8.1 Support

The MySQL plugin has been updated to ensure compatibility with the most recent MySQL version, 8.1. It’s important to note that to use MySQL version 8.1 and higher, you must run Handy Backup in a 64-bit environment.

PostgreSQL Plugin Update

Furthermore, we’ve enhanced the efficiency of the PostgreSQL database plugin to ensure a smooth PostgreSQL backup experience. In earlier versions, there were constraints when it came to backing up tables and databases containing non-Latin characters. However, in the latest release, these limitations have been eliminated, and Handy Backup can now handle data without regard to the language or characters present in table and database names.

FTP Server Plugin Enhancements

Moreover, we have enhanced the program’s compatibility with FTP servers, enabling support for files that include non-Latin characters. Users can now perform FTP backups of files, regardless of file names or encoding.
