In addition to the support for RedOS 7, Handy Backup Server Network now includes backup support for RedOS 8 in heterogeneous environments. This includes the ability to backup PostgreSQL databases, file systems, and data from cloud storage services such as Amazon S3 and other S3-compatible platforms.
To configure backup tasks for Linux, you need to install the Handy Backup Management Panel on a Windows machine, then install the network agent on a workstation running RedOS 8.
In the latest version, changes have been made to the WebDAV logs, making them clearer and easier to read. These improvements will enable users to more effectively monitor the WebDAV backup process.
The cache handling during backup creation with the Disk Image plugin has been enhanced. Users can now disable clipboard usage, saving disk space and speeding up the backup process. This is especially important when working with large volumes of data.
